Spyro Gyra is a jazz fusion group that formed in 1974 in Buffalo, New York and their unique blend of jazz, rock and blues soon gained them worldwide acclaim. The band has released 35 albums, attained platinum and gold records and have been nominated for 12 Grammys. Spyro Gyra has long been known in the contemporary jazz world as a “well-oiled road machine” due to its relentless schedule of 48 years of performing. Their energy and joy in concert match their unmatched musicality.
