Best of Show The Best of Show is awarded for the artist's whole body of work. Here is a representative Big Bird Drawing by John Costin, this year's winner.

The show is located in Winter Park's beautiful downtown Central Park.
About the Festival The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious juried outdoor art festivals, consistently rated among the top shows by Sunshine Artist and American Style magazines. Each year more than 350,000 visitors enjoy the show.
History of the Show The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival was started by a handful of enthusiasts as a community project to benefit local artists and art lovers. The first festival was held on Park Avenue in March 1960.

Saturday, March 17th, 9 AM to 6 PM
Sunday, March 18th, 9 AM to 5 PM

By City Ordinance, there are no pets allowed in Central Park at any time nor on Park Avenue between New England Avenue and Canton Avenue during the regular Festival hours.

 
 

Children’s Workshop Village

Hey, Kids! Come Create! Have Fun! It’s Free!

Boys and girls, here is your chance to show everyone your artistic abilities by creating a unique piece of artwork that you can keep and share with your family and friends. Best of all, it’s all free.

The fun happens between 10 am and 4 pm at the Children’s Workshop Village on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and kids can keep what they make. The Children’s Workshop Village is appropriate for children ages 2 through 12. One of the most popular activities at the Village is easel painting on Saturday and Sunday, 10 am-3 pm. In addition, each of our museum partners has prepared interesting hands-on arts and crafts activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 am-4 pm. This is one of the most anticipated events at the festival each year and thousands of children and their families participate.

Driving Directions

Traveling I-4 East… take the Fairbanks exit (87). Go east (right) on Fairbanks for approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Park Avenue. Free parking is available along many surrounding streets. You can also park in private lots and garages. If you are a person with a disability, please ask the Winter Park Police officer, stationed at Park Ave. & Canton Ave. or New York Ave. & Morse Blvd. for assistance.

Consumption of Alcohol in the Park

Wayne Densch Inc. has partnered with the Winter Park Rotary and the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival for the sale of beer for the past several years. Look for the special signs marking beer garden in Central Park. All alcohol must be consumed within this fenced area and cannot be taken outside of the beer garden confines.

Proceeds from the sale of beer and wine benefit the Winter Park Rotary and the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival.
