LEON THEODORE SCHOOLS EXHIBIT
It’s
a show within a show.
 |
|
Thousands of vivid paintings, sculptures, fine drawings and other unique pieces of
student-created artwork will be on display inside the Leon Theodore Schools Exhibit
tents.
Showcasing student artwork is nothing new at the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival.
Tens of thousands of children have participated. WPSAF is proud to support the arts and
art appreciation among youth.
Students from Orange County public and private schools, K-12, will participate. Local art
teachers select the best pieces to display. We’re sure you will be amazed and delighted.
Distinguished judges will award a Best of Show winner and bestow honors in a variety of
art categories at the high school level. Every young artist also will receive a special
certificate.
Named in honor of the late Leon Theodore, a long-time Winter Park Sidewalk Art
Festival board member, the exhibit for student art has been featured at the show for the
past 48 years.
Leon Theodore Schools Exhibit tents will be located across the railroad tracks near the
stage in North Central Park behind the Post Office. |
